In Switzerland, the Swiss lowlands received the most snow for any October since records began in 1931. New Zealand has experienced cold not seen in years and the Arctic had record cold and snow.

A trip to the beach during the summer requires the use of proper suntan lotion to prevent a very bad sunburn. In fact, a hot summer day makes us often retreat from the sun into the cover of nearby shade. However, a cold winter day will often make us long for the warmth of the sun's direct rays.

There is a new psychiatric malady reported in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry. Dr. Joshua Wolf and Dr. Robert Sato of the Royal Children's Hospital have documented a case of a "previously unreported phenomenon" which they are calling Climate Change Psychosis. Indeed, it is a name which describes a very serious mental malady.

In fact, the United Nations Planetary Climate Change Council would be receiving the Nobel Peace Prize right about now. Their scientific statement would refer to Neptune, Jupiter, Mars, and Pluto as being in danger of man-made, irreversible, global climate change due to green house gas emissions.
