Humor In A World Of April Fools

The first day of April every year brings an odd assortment of gags, tricks, and black humor. 

The phrase "April fools" announces the end of the prank but highlights the need for April to be the month in which jokes on unsuspecting people are played.

However, humor can be seen every day in the world around us. There really is no reason to limit daily humor just to the month of April. 

Lets look at examples of humor in a world of April fools every single day of the  year.

- How often have we used Mapquest and secretly wondered why they dont start their directions at number 5?  Most of us know how to get out of our own neighborhood.

- Can we all just agree to ignore what ever comes after Blue Ray? Its getting pretty expensive to start my video collection... again.

- I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet that on any given Friday or Saturday night, more kisses start with Bud Lite than Kay.

- Sometimes I will look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

- My check engine light has been on for three months and nothing has happened.  I am beginning to think that my car is feeling neglected and is only looking for attention.

-If the space bar on your keyboard doesn't work, blame it on an upgrade. Keyboards are actually very happy with half a pound of muffin crumbs, coffee stains and nail clippings in them.

- In fact my keyboard needs a removable crumb tray just like my toaster.

- Maybe next April Fools day I should hire two private detectives to follow each other.

- I would rather try and carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than make two trips to bring the groceries in.

- I wish it was appropriate to say to a complete stranger - " Excuse me, would you like me to show you how to discipline your child".

- Politicians should listen to the words of Sophocles. "Much wisdom often goes with brevity of speech".

- The printer is comprised of three main parts; the case, the jammed paper tray and the blinking red light.

 - If your computer says that it cannot find the printer, please do not follow the example of the guy in the video below.
