A Speech At The Reagan Presidential Library
Monday, September 5, 2011 at 10:53AM The world of celebrity politics is a world of fluid change. What is in fashion today is far removed from the political mainstream in a very short time.

Friday, October 29, 2010 at 10:39AM Election Day 2010 is now just five days away and public opinion polls have been very clear for the last year.
Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 03:25PM The President has been distracted with the recession in the economy and his year long futile attempt at passing health care legislation.

Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 01:58PM The political outcry came from every corner of Capital Hill. Those $165 million in employee-retention bonus payments made by the government backed insurance giant AIG would have to be returned.

Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 10:11AM Just one year ago, stimulus was also the solution to a failing economy. Indeed, those 2008 taxpayer stimulus checks provided little stimulus based on the dismal economic statistics of today.

Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 07:04PM After hearing the sarcastic good byes from the crowd at Barack Obama's Inauguration, he would land later that day in Midland, Texas to give his Presidential farewell speech to a much more accepting audience.
Monday, December 29, 2008 at 03:01PM Barack Obama's Inauguration will be held in Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2009. The forty-fourth President of the United States will soon have to address five major problems in United States foreign and domestic policy. Resolutions of these five problems would define success for his Presidency.

Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 07:06PM It is always interesting to compare what a successful politician will say to get elected in a Presidential campaign and what subsequently happens. For example, many people remember George Bush's (41) famous campaign pledge of "Read My Lips, No New Taxes" in the 1988 Presidential campaign only to propose raising taxes after his Election Day victory.
Friday, November 14, 2008 at 07:03PM The transition team lined up for introduction behind the new President Elect at his first Press Conference. The man who ran on a platform of hope and change was flanked by a lineup of Washington Democratic insiders as far as the stage would reach.

The mainstream media is in a ratings freefall. Neilson has just released a comparison of the broadcast network prime-time viewership for the 2008-2009 season compared with last season. The results for the major television networks are pretty grim.
Monday, October 13, 2008 at 06:37PM Since the economy went into a tailspin several weeks ago, Barack Obama has been surging in most of the national public opinion polls. His lead has recently stabilized between four and eight percentage points over Republican Presidential candidate John McCain with just three weeks to go in the campaign.
Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 07:04PM Each day, for the last several months, just about every national public opinion poll has told the same story. John McCain and Barack Obama are in a statistical tie. A look at the electoral college map also shows a very close result.
Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 01:06PM My parents brought me up to always do my civic duty. Every election day since I was eligible, I have requested a ballot and cast a vote. Usually I make up my mind on a candidate selection long before Election Day.
Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 01:51PM The No Child Left Behind Act certainly had an ambitious goal. It mandated that all students tested in reading and math would reach grade level by the year 2014. Six years ago, when the law was passed, almost no one believed that this standard for success was realistic.
Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10:50AM The campaign of Republican John McCain has just released two web videos which highlight what the campaign feels is a national media bias in favor of Democrat Barack Obama in the 2008 Presidential election. It is asking people to vote for their favorite video.
Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 11:16AM I watched the HBO miniseries on John Adams during the fourth of July weekend. The miniseries is based on the book by David McCullough on the second President of the United States. The movie portrays a somewhat vain fellow who was not a very skilled diplomat and detested the notion of compromise.
