A Climate Change Huckster's Race To Seal The Deal

A huckster sells products you don't need for a problem you don't have, at a price you can't afford. Since the sale is based on selling the sizzle and not the steak, there is only a short window of opportunity to make an impulse sale before the potential customer cools off and reconsiders the purchase.

Huckster is the only term to describe what is happening now in the United Nations as the science behind the theory of man-made Global Warming continues to quickly unravel. The huckster, U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon recently told the Global Environment forum: "As we move toward Copenhagen in December, we must "Seal a Deal" on climate change that secures our common future".

The U.N.Secretary General continued: "Please use this "Seal the Deal" as widely as possible, as much as you can. We must seal the deal in Copenhagen for the future of humanity. We have just four months. Four months to secure the future of our planet. Any agreement must be fair, effective, equitable and comprehensive, and based on science. And it must help vulnerable nations adapt to climate change."

According to the U.N. Secretary General, there is only four months left to save our planet from catastrophic climate change in the next century. However, time is growing short not due the warming of the globe. The fact is the planet is actually cooling and has been for a decade.

No, the real reason that there is only four months left to act to save the planet is because the customer - the international community, is quickly cooling off as the theory behind man-made global warming is rapidly unravelling.

The truth is that it is now becoming very difficult to sell the global warming sizzle to an increasingly skeptical international audience. So, if the impulse buy does not happen soon, it will not happen at all and the opportunity for a massive global reallocation of hundreds of billions of dollars will be lost.

The truth is that the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is under scientific siege. Former NASA chief Dr. John Theon has recently slammed the IPCC computer models that are used to determine future climate change as not scientific because the modellers have "resisted making their work transparent so that it can be replicated independently by other scientists" .

Then, the founder of the International Journal Of Forecasting, and author of 70 papers on forecasting, Dr. J. Scott Armstrong, declared that the forecasting process used by the IPCC lacks a scientific basis. Meanwhile, scientists across the globe release paper after paper which question the science behind man-made global climate change.

While the science is unravelling, estimates of the cost of climate change legislation in the United States continues to grow. The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the American Council for Capital Formation (ACCF) are the latest to release a study that found under a high-cost scenario the United States House of Representatives global warming bill could reduce economic growth by 2.4 percent and cost 2 million jobs in the United States by the year 2030.

According to the hucksters at the U.N. there is only four months left to save the planet. The message to the governments of the West and the United States Congress is don't think, or read environmental legislation, just sign quickly on the dotted line and spend huge sums of taxpayer money to try and prevent man-made global warming.

After all there is just four months left to "seal the deal" before the world becomes to cold.
