The Mystery Ship Of Terror From Iran

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has answered Barack Obama's offer to extend a hand of peace if Iran "unclenched its fist." Ahmadinejad told a rally in western Iran, which was broadcast live on state television that there would be several conditions and America needs to change.
The Iranian President said: "Those who say they want to make change, this is the change they should make: they should apologize to the Iranian nation and try to make up for their dark background and the crimes they have committed against the Iranian nation."
Of course, Iranian demands also included withholding U.S. support from Israel, and ending the US military presence throughout the world. If these are Iran's current demands just think about the extent of their demands after they are emboldened with a nuclear capability.
In fact, the prospect of a nuclear Iran may now be only a few months away. The prestigious International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) predicts that Iran will have enough enriched uranium to make a single nuclear weapon later this year. A result that would make a mockery of the three sets of United Nations Resolutions that tried to prevent that outcome.
As the public exchange between the Presidents of the United States and Iran was unfolding, a more serious international problem was quietly underway. Various news agencies have reported that Iran launched a ship before the recent Presidential Inauguration that started its voyage by the name of the Iran-Hedayat but changed its name in mid voyage to Nochegorsk.
The purpose of this mystery ship was the secret delivery of weapons to Hamas but the ship was discovered by U.S intelligence and boarded by the naval officers of the USS San Antonio in the Red Sea. Upon boarding the ship, the naval officers discovered numerous crates marked with the inscription “hazardous materials".
The Iranian ship was reportedly transporting 50 Fajr rockets, scores of heavy Grad rockets, new and improved launchers whose angle of fire can be precisely adjusted, tons of high-quality explosives, submachine guns, rifles, pistols and armor-piercing missiles and shells.
However, that was not all it was carrying. US searchers using metal detectors discovered welded steel compartments packed with even more hardware concealed at the bottom of the ships hull.
The arms shipment was the largest Tehran has ever consigned to Hamas in Gaza, and included a large number of anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines, equipment for assembling roadside bombs and advanced communications and night vision gear.
So, the Iran-Hedayat was a mystery ship of dangerous weapons that Iran sent to support a known terrorist organization. Its a sobering prospect that in the future these ships will carry crates for terrorists that are radioactive as Iran achieves its nuclear fame.
